I think we should do 1,500 as they are easy to do. That and I don't want to paint 2,000, that's too much, but I can do 1,500.

@last - hmmmmmmmmmm...maybe, PM me with your name and maybe I will remember, or just post it here. My brain is dead, and I'm off to 'do' my homework..really I am going to work on my Veteran sqaud.

If you're doing Mid-South, Nashville is geographically the best spot. It's about an 8 hour drive from North Carolina, 10 from Virginia, and close to Mississippi, Ohio, Alabama, Illinios, etc. Memphis is a little too far west.

As for you Texas guys, having driven from NC to TX about 10 or so times, unless you're in Dallas or East Texas, you're out of luck. Memphis is 7~8 from Dallas making good time, goes downhill from there.

My family lives about 40 minutes from Nashville. It'd be a good trip for me to see them and meetup with other LO players. Actually, we could game at my old store probably, if I ran it by Grant. It's a great venue. Six tables or so for gaming, big tables. Bigger than standard 2000 pt WHFB size. Well lit. PLENTY of terrain. It's about 35 minutes from Nashville and right off the Interstate. I played there until I moved to Texas this summer. Well lit, only a few years old, so like new facilities. Plenty of food places less than a mile away.

It's a good ten to 11 hours from east Texas where we are.

There are also many motels nearby, and as it's a college town, you can find plenty of bars. But if you want really good music and a big city nightlife, then it's no comparison to Nashville.

The only reason I insist doing it here, is the fact I cannot drive yet (I hate having a car..but not even having my permit. Damn laws that say 14 yr olds can't drive..) If it was during a holiday after November, then there is a distinct possiblility I can go, as my sister goes to Belmont University in Nashville. (Ha! Take that you laws!) So, I'd have to get dates, point size, and talk to my parents... Oh, and seeing as I cannot drive, I guess that means I cannot drink. The talking to my parents is the hard part, as I know noone over there, and they get paranoid with me hanging out with strangers. But seeing as it is GW related, and I am up at the Bunker most weekends, with people my parents do not know, I bet it would be fine.

Edit- Even better, it's in Murphesburrow, where my sisters boyfriend lives. Ha, I love today...it's turning out so well.
