5th Annual Warfan "Toys for Tots" Gaming Tournament
November 8th, 2008


The Warfan gaming club announces its fourth annual Toys for Tots gaming tournament in support of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation to be held at Life University in Marietta, GA on November 8th, 2008. All net proceeds and toys collected will be donated to the Atlanta Toys for Tots Campaign 2008.

The 4 round, open gaming tournament will feature competition in Warhammer Fantasy Battles, Warhammer 40,000. Doors open at 90 am on Saturday. Tournament entry costs will be $45 or $25 and a new toy. Participants can pre-register at the Warfan website: Warfan.net. Top player awards will be given in the categories of generalship, painting and sportsmanship. A prize raffle will be held throughout the event featuring products and prize support from event sponsors. The event is open to the public. Supporters of "Toys for Tots" are welcome to drop off donations during the event.

Warfan is an Atlanta area gaming club that has been hosting weekly meetings and monthly events, playing Games Workshop gaming systems for 7 years. Warfan holds quarterly RTT (Rouge Trader Tournament) events as part of it's organizational charter. Toys for Tots is the flagship RTT event for the club. Last year, 42 competitors participated in its all-day event. This year's event will have slots open for 70+ competitors.

- 40k: 2,000 points
- WHFB: 2,250 points
- Rounds: 4 rounds
- Cost: $45, or $25 with a toy donation
