Game: Warhammer 40,00
Location: Orange County California; Location LA Battle Bunker
Requirements: Unpainted 40k army 1,500+ points, paints, brushes and determination!

Hello,

Currently me and my friends are starting up a painting and gaming challenge just like the one in the recent issues of White Dwarf. At the moment the challenge looks like it will begin in late November or December. We have a fair number of people participating so far, however it would be nice to get some more players. If you are starting a new 40k army, or looking for a chance to socialize (and paint) look no further!

Currently I am in the process of scheduling a introductory meeting in earlier november, so if you are interested please contact me ASAP.

I know it is a little late but I noticed date and time is not listed...

Today at 7: 00 PM at the battle bunker. It is just a quick meet today so if you want to join I would say contact us and we can meet up next time... or if you can make it tonight.... I am leaving for the Battle bunker in the next few!

We had our initial meetup last week and it went very well. However we would really like to have more people involved.

If you are close to the LA Battlebunker in Westminster and would like to attend it definitely isn't too late. We wanted to meet again in December but the 1st deadline wouldn't be until January.

Pattern Maker is finalizing the contest guidelines and has more info but please consider joining if you are at all interested. We would be more than happy to schedule another meet and greet beforehand. We are nice people. Really.

Just a bit about myself... I am mostly a painter but have always wanted to play. Don't have much play experience and haven't painted much for myself so this is my biggest interest in this group. I want to have a playable force and have fun playing. From what I gather we are all either brand new to the new rules or still on a learning curve so it would be a more casual and fun type of contest...

Any questions or comments please let me or Pattern Maker know.

I would like to get in some regular 40k games. I am out here by Glendale. But would not mind checking out the Battle Bunker. I have yet to make the trip out there? How is it?

Store wise it is a GW store... They have a huge gaming area though and have lots of terrain pieces... To be honest I have only participated in a few mega battles there but it looks like a fun place to meet up.

Next meeting is this Tuesday on the 2nd of December! Place and time will be like the last meeting, at 7: 00pm at the LA Battle Bunker. The meet-up will be a chance for everyone to meet the other players, get rule information and answer any questions people might have.

If you think you might want to join, or just want to hang out and talk about miniature painting, you are welcome as well.

I live in Valencia (Magic mountain area) but I wouldn't mind stoping in to see whats up. Its almost a 2 hour drive for me, but my BF and I both play and I realy want to test my new eldar army, BF plays ummm everything. We normaly go to the Pasadena store "Game empire" or the northridge GW. Well if you guys don't mind us see'ing whats up that'd be cool, I need new paints any how
