Hi, I also play there at times along with girlhunter2012. I'm usually available on Thurs as that is usually my day off. If interested just PM me. I play nids, marines, daemonhunters, IG and the new space wolves. I'm also up for Apocalypse and have a rather sizeable force if interested.

    theres a lot of us...

    Hail from the east bay!
surprised how many of us are on LO. Me and my friend have been looking for somewhere to get back into 40k, we both have been playing a long time but have not played a lot of 5th ed. We both used to frequent endgame though, is Finn still there? Also we both recently decided to start playing fantasy finally, but we already have sizeable 40k forces both. A doubles tournament sounds like good fun, ill see if we can't get ourselves to the next 40k one. So is the Alamo GW the best place in the Bay Area to go? We need a new haunt.

Alamo GW is pretty good, the staff are friendly and actually care about you as a person, instead of only seeing you as a potential sale. The tables are awesome too.
I couldn't think of anything funny, smart, or witty to say, so I said this.

Union City may be an awesome store, but I'm in Walnut Creek, which is less than 5 minutes from Alamo.

General announcement to you Bay area players. The Alamo GW, that some of us frequent and play at, is open till Midnight on friday nights! So for all you guys who live far away or don't get off work till 7 you still have hours of playing time. This friday is especially important as the biggest gw in the bay area may be downsized if its not packed/close to being so, which would be horrible for what is, dunno if its official yet, the San Francisco Battle bunker. Hell if it does get downsized, the shift to bunker mgiht not even occur. And we can't let that happen! Double CA bunker baby! Take that L.A.!

The two employees there (just two!) have worked way too hard just to be downsized. Everyone, if you're available, go to GW Alamo on friday. If you aren't available, tell every hobbyist you know. It's rumored that if the battle bunker promotion happens, GW Alamo will expand.

    Hi,

I'm a long-time 40K and fantasy player. I live in Pacifica, but I work in Pleasanton, so I would be interested in some weekday evening games in the Tri-Valley area.

There's a Meetup.com group for Tri-Valley 40K players that just started up, that might be a good place to coordinate.

Hey, I play regularly at Alamo GW, and am most notable as the guy who mounted a Carnifex carcass on his Land Raider Crusader. I'm always down for a game!

It's cool that there are so many other players up here in the bay area, I personally live in Santa Cruz and am looking for some people to play some games against. our flgs only has game days set up once a month, if anybody is traveling through or is in the area and wants to play a game hit me up.
