This is a very in your face army that includes a zombie dragon.
-master of the black arts
-walach's bloody hauberk
-book of arkhan
He will take lore of fire for pure destruction and be on the enemy first turn.
-sword of might
A basic fighting vampire used to keep the ghouls on the move and keep their numbers up.
He's cheap and finished of the army nicely when I wrote it.
These guys fill the troop slots and form a pretty solid core and can keep up with everything else due to ghoulkin. Normally I wouldn't use them this way but they seem to fit in great with this army.
6 Black Knights
-royal standard of strigos
These three units are simple mobile hard hitters
This comes in at 1995pts. The basic plan is to hit hard and fast, I know its not very subtle but having a couple hard hitting terror causing units could spell doom very early on. One thing i was thinking of changing is making the vampire lord combat orientated though he should be able to dish out damage the way he is especially if flaming sword goes off. Also the necromancer could easily be dropped for some thing else.
BEN DIESEL FTW!!!
Im no expert on the VC's, but I wouldn't just blindly use lore of Fire every battle. The great thing is, you cam pick your lore deopending on your opponent.
Against Chaos or Brets, lore of metal will do a number, etc, etc, you can figure the rest out i guess.
But dont overlook lore of Beasts. Bears Anger will work wonders on these guys, but you can also stop a monster, chariot, cav or swarm unit from moving. With such fast units, stop them from moving, get on the flank (or even right up close, since they cant charge you!) and then SMASH. You can also hold a unit still, and hit them with a Hunter's spear in the side....having all 6 of these spells is SOOO usefeul (tho oxen stands is useless, take the awesome with the bad, hey ?)
Finaly, you have to choose the spellyour Necro has in you r army list, you cant choose a new one each time (unless you basicly change you rlist). So, necros ALWAYS have a specific role in a n army they are used in.

I havn't given the necromancer a spell because I'm not too sure that I'll keep him, though he will most likely have invocation of nehek. All the lores have some great spells though fire is by far the most destructive which is what I want, Though shadow is another lore that could be great as I'll have doom and darkness which will be devastating with three terror causers, plus unseen lurker.
