Could work. I'd be tempted to downgrade the dragon to an Abyssal Terror and use the extra points to get another vampire.

I think I would drop the zombie dragon at 2000pts and a thrid vampire would be very good idea.

Looks great :-) Altho, your vamps are SO vurnarable in combat :-( On the other hand, if you slaughter enough, it's no problem at all...

I love risks for the greater good :-D

I'm just not sure you have enough magic in this list at 2k points. Remember that Abyssal Terrors have no uniform look so you could build your skeletal dragon and as long as it's clear its an abyssal terror you shouldn't have any problems with that. Having the extra dice from another vamp would be useful, as well as getting you a book of arhkan to get the rest of your units up into combat.

Oh sugar, i forgot to mention that this list will be playing against Hordes of Chaos and Tomb Kings. Slaanesh and Nurgle Hordes (so only about 6-7 dice). The Tomb Kings could be a problem, but i shall be going for the Heirophant with the Dragon. So i think its ok

But i REALLY want to keep the dragon, im sorry but its staying

    Hi,

I would consider to drop the zombie regiement. It's good to contest quarter table, but you only need five of them. I would instead take a necromencer who will give you a little bit more magic power. When you will need to contest the quarter, just raise a small unit of zombie.

Also, a good TK player ( I play also TK) won't let you catch is hieorophant. Usually he will have the cloack of the dust who make him fly. So he should have difficulty to stay out of the dragon.

Only problem is he's then have to use the points to get another core choice as wolves no longer count towards the minimum core limit.
So assuming he doesn't switch anything around all he could get would be 10 skellies or 10 ghouls (with no command for either)

Fair enough, just remember that Wristbands of Blackgold will only protect the vampire and post pics when you're done.

Other thing to note is that since you're going up against Tomb Kings I'd seriously reccomend geting some more dispel dice. If you can somehow find the points I'd reccomend a Vamp with black periapt and maybe a scroll as well.
VC vs TK, especially now VC can raise anything back, is going to come down to who is more succesful in raising to replace casaulties.
Only problem is what to drop to find the points.

Very good list, like it a lot!

Keep that dragon for sure! Cloud of Flies is pure gold for this guy, esp with teh ws boost of the dragon. Go hard!

You've got a few units to target a Heiro with, maybe play by ear. The Vargi may be better suited for the task, depending on placement. Regardless, use the Vargi and Dragon to target the Catapaults and Casket (should easy points, really)

I reckon the dragon should have a good time against another undead force, mainly since the enemy can't flee (biggest problem I have with mine....but it's Khorne ). Just pick the right combats, don't get bogged down, and dont die.

You'll suffer from the same problem tho - you cant flee. The TK player cant whip out a really good mevement spell (better than Macabre) and you could be fighting 25 skellies in the front...not good, esp if that Dragon crumbles and the lance recomes useless!

    Good luck!

    Regards, Tim
