only one vamp in the list means that the speed and maneuverability of this list is limited at best. but its not what you would come to expect from the new book.
new idea: do i even need a vampire? in the old book i remember that the general had to have at least one level of magic, but i do not recall that in this book. if it is the case that i do, could some one reference a page number, thanks in advance.
extrapolating on the last idea: if no droop vamp, and spears from burning skeleton unit and add black coach, still have a vampire but its much cooler now

The need for a Vampire general is listed on the page just before the army list. Page 88, under the Choosing the General, or something.
As for the list, has some good points, in it's large, fear causing unbreakable blocks, coupled with some fast, heavy hitting flankers, good stiff here.
The biggest problem you have, though, is the vulnerability of your general - a 3+ armour save at best! This guy should always be a vampire LORD, so he has access to the Crown of the Damned, then give him a decent armour savee. After that THEN give him Periapt, and what ever other toys you like.
As is, the Vulnerab;i;ty of the General will spell doom for this army, I feel.
Yeah i agree, try and swap the vampire for a vampire lord. I think this army will look very good, should be fun.
i will not take the vampire lord.
not in this list, thats part of the the point.
to protect him ill put him in the spear block that goes behind the grave guard.
