I very recently went into Melbourne and brought a Vampire Battalion and Army Book, my second attempt at collecting a WHFB army. I have just made this list tonight, it will be what I will be working towards for the next few months.I have no doubt this list is crap and has countless mistakes and bad selections but thats what y'all are here for right?.
Anyways here is my list I would be very gratefull for any advice, tips, hints.
Vampire; Supernatural Horror, Infinate Hatred, Sceptre de Noiret, Sword of battle.
What I was thinking wid this guy is SoB makes him four attacks with re-rolls every combat phase, he can make zombies as he goes and scare off people.
Necromancer; Dispell Scroll, Vanhel's Dense Macabre, IoN.
This dude is here to add to the power dice by 1 and speed up my units moving across board+fix up some dead guys.
20 skellies; Standard Bearer, Champion, handweapons.
They will accompany the Necromancer. I was wondering weather there is a point in giving undead musicians??? becuase they won't flee anyway.
10 Cyrpt Gouls; Cyrpt Gast.
2 poisened attacks sounds good, how best are these guys used though?
Corps Cart; ?????
What should I give the corpse cart Balefire or Unholy L'stone OR nothing at all???
5 Dire Wolfs; -
20 Grave Guard; Champion, Standard bearer.
Again is there any point in the musician?. The vampire will go with this unit.
Well that's my attempt at a list please feel free to be harsh as hell with your critisising it will help, and any advise with using VC would be great.
Does anybody know of any VC tactica articles or unit sumaries???

Well this is a really well constructed list for a first attempt, although I do have a few quick thoughts.
1) Change the dispel scroll and the sceptre de noirot around on your characters. The Zombie raising will work better from the necromancer
2) Drop the champion on the ghouls, and use the spare points to get 1 more dire wolf.
3) Mount the necromancer on the corpse cart, with the unholy lodestone. Then sit him behind your two main units, raising and healing as you march forward.
Apart from that, very nice.
New LOChat functions now avaliable.
