I was looking at the talisman of lycni and i really like it so i was thinking about a lord like this
+1 magic level
Summon creatures of the night
Master of the black arts or red fury
talisman of lycni (of course)
In a unit of 20 dire wolves on a flank
I was also thinking a lord with
forbidden lore: beasts
In a unit of 10 wraiths with a banshee
using bears anger for attacks and spectral form for defense, a great unit for going after war machines and lone mages or other skirmishers
WHAT DO YOU THINK AND WHAT ARE YOUR COMBOS FOR A SECOND LORD (Obviously not your general!)
i prefer the first lord personally , im not a fan of those remain in play spell vampires as its so easy to dispel in the next magic phase , i also wouldnt use 10 wraiths or w/e for mage n warmachine hunting , isnt that like 30 str 5 attacks in that unit of wraiths? much rather using it to flank in combination with a grave guard unit or somthing and then only 5 or so.
I'm not a fan of bear's anger on a vampire unless it's used as a distraction. No sound opponent will let you cast it on a lord, and everyone gets at least 2 (and if they know they're facing VC, it will be much more). Perhaps avatar of death?
Don't know about the first one. Haven't seen anything like it, so I'd like to hear how it turns out.
I am heading off to the Peace Corps. It is bery likely I will not be back. Good luck to all of you endeavors.
