Sorry for making yet another thread, but I felt maybe that the two lists should be kept sorta seperate. Or something
First attempt at 2000 pts:
Vampire Lord: Dread Knight, Red Fury, Infinite Hatred, Walach's Bloody Hauberk (goes with Blood Knights)
Vampire: Dark Acolyte , Summon Ghouls, Flayed Hauberk, Power stone (goes with Ghouls)
Wight King: Sword of Kings, Steed with Barding (goes with Black Knights)
3 units of 20 Ghouls
9 Black Knights with Barding, Full Command and Banner of the Barrows
5 Blood Knights with Standard Bearer and Flag of Blood Keep
What do you all think? (I promise not to start any more threads after this one )

If only you could have 3 rare in 2K points.......... sadly 2 so one should go. I can never decide what to choose. With your list i'd take out the Wraiths. They'll give you some points to boost your ghouls or add another hero for them. You don't have enough magic defense to stop missiles from hitting them anyways.
Ditch ghoulkin on hero and get Dark Acolyte. Helm not worth it on hero unless you give him wolf form and he runs behind. I would rather give him 2+ armour + scroll or the book!!!!!!
Take away a black knight or 2 (I assume u'll put the WKing in that unit), beef up ghouls. Solid list i like it a lot!
Just watch magic defense and don't rely on magic offense. You'll struggle to get more ghouls as you don't have many PD. if this is intentional then don't worry.
The plan was to move the ghouls forward as quickly as possible into combat but i guess casting a Vanhel's would have the same effect, which I can now cast without having to worry about getting my Ghouls up to strength. Thanks for pointing those issues out
