I am playing a 3000 point game v Warriors of Chaos and Lizardmen. i have good sucess against WoC with different army lists but have yet to beat the lizards.
I usually go with the lord with magic upgrade to the max with skull staff and helm of commandment but have just got some blood knights and wanted to try this out.

-sword of kings
- 2 dispel scrolls
- 2 dispel scrolls
3 * 15 skeletons / hw / banners
10 dire wolves
corpse cart with bale fire
9 black knights / barding / full command / banner of the barrows
4 blood knights / musician / banner bearer / flag of blood keep
3 cairn wraiths including 1 tomb banshee
The lord and banner bearer run with the blood knights making an awesome unit which is screened by the wolves. the wight king is with the black knights. I know this is beardy but then the other players i play against do the same. any suggestions welcomed

well looking at your list i would say you might do well against warriars of chaos but lizards are far to elite and godlike compared to VC if you find yourself playing against lizards i would just surrender, but i have an idea why dont you start a dwarf army you could theme them around yourself and call the army the dwarfs of asscrack mountain, or maybe king connelfairy turdfist of the analbeardy tribe

This is the dumbest thing i have ever read in my life. The only army VC really has to fear is the WE. I have played 15 or so games against the Lizardmen and have only lost once, when he cheesed up his army and fielded 3 or so stegadons. The downfall of all lizardmen is they have low attacks, lacking numbers(due to there high pt models), and their 4 movement. I have never have had a problem with their magic because this is one of the few armies i have some scroll caddies. I target any squad that has magic first, and this makes it so late game my magic will save me.
Their low attacks and model counts makes it perfect for my raising the dead stratigy to really come into effect. I useally field some where around 40 wights, which killing blow will scare any lizardmen squad, except for their kroigors who useally i just tarpit. Also i ten to field 2 squads of Black Knights because Lizardmen have no cavalery, well they do but it is over priced and a waste of points so in a real game you should never see them. This makes it easy to have 5 knights and avampire charge a squad and hit them hard, killing a bunch because of their WS X and high T, but nothing compared to a Knight with a Lance. This will useally make them break, even with their really good rule of 3d6 Ld checks, but with a Ld of X, and you lost comabt by atleast 4, 3d6 will not help you.
The things to keep in mid is outnumber them, out move them, and out magic them. Those are the main Lizard weakness and because we can raise any amount of our guys back, Lizardmen cannot play around with their guys numbers because they know they wiill lose the number battle. This means they will no dought charge your lord, which with good protection, you can control the the lizardmens turn almost every time
