20 skeletons - full command - 180
10 skeletons - full command - 100
19 crypt ghouls - 152
5 dire wolves
need feedback plz and am new so sos if i made any mistakes
also what would be good to add to it
come on people start posting
I dont know if your still looking at this or not but i'll give you a reply just in case you are. As I am also new to VC feel free to disregard anything I say if you think it dosnt fit your playing stlye or it just isnt what you want.Okay do you want a casting vampire or a combat one cause you've got a mix of both here and from what i've heard that dosnt tend to work out very well in low point games. So i'll give you two seperate builds that I would run, one for casting vamp and one for combat.vampire - master of the black arts, blood drinker - 190
Vampire - 185
Lord of the Dead
This is my personal Vamp cause I also run at 1,000 pts at the moment and with this guy I feel that you get plenty of magic out of him with the Dark Acolyte and say you dont use a power dice or dispell dice on a turn, then you can use it the next turn with the Black Periapt. Also Lord of the Dead lets you raise your skeletons beyond their starting size so you can drop the starting size of the units to 15.
- Infinite Hatred
- Walking Death
- The Flayed Hauberk
- Sword of Kings
With this guy he can re roll misses every round with can be usefull because the more hits you get the more chances of a Killing Blow w/ SoK. Also the Flayed Hauberk giving him a nice 2+ save. Walking Death is a bonus if he is in a unit because he adds +1 combat rez which can be helpful.
Now with your necromancer I myself would forget about the corpse cart. If you are going to run with a more of a pure combat vamp then I suggest the followig:
Necromancer - 95
- Extra Spell
- Sceptre de Noirot
Necromancer - 105
- Extra Spell
- Book of Arkhan
Or if you want to forget about the idea of necromancers altogether you can pick up another vamp and tool him to be the opposite or the same as your other, its really up to you.
For your core I would run the gouls the same but I would sperate the skeleton units into 15 each to be more even for one and also so that they are both a more of a threat. Having the two units of dire wolves can be good to use for flanking / warmachine hunting on one side while your Vargulf does the same on the other.
Good Luck and Happy Hunting!
