Vampire:summon ghouls, forbidden lore (lore of vamps)
necromancer:scepter de noirot, extra spell (IoN, raise dead)
15 grave guard with banner of barrows
20 ghouls, split into 2 groups, one has ghast
20 zombies with bearer and musician
10 dire wolves, split in 2 groups
this adds to 997. mainsly, ill be going against my friend, who plays dwarves heavy in bolt throwers. the idea is for the zombies to block the grave guard untill they get close enough, and the ghouls to block the other ghouls as my vamp buffs them upwards in size. dire wolf and varghulf storm after bolt throwers, necro maintains GG and makes more zombies. Thoughts? any help is GREATLY appreciated, and thanks in advance
pretty good, my thoughts;
the varghulf and wolves are a good idea for killing the warmachines, keep them
id keep the ghouls as one unit personally, or drop the zombies and have two units of 15?
the vampire seems a little vulnerable with no armour and also summon ghouls isnt really worth it imo.
not sure about the nec? whats your plan for him?
thanks for the input. the necromancer is for maintaining the grave guard at max fighting capacity, as well as keeping a good wall against any war machines who try to target it. i will follow your advice, and ditch summon ghouls and get more ghouls

If your versing lots of bolt throwers i'd get either bat swarms or giant bats to try and kill the war-machines.
