At the moment thinking of taking lore of vampires on the general and light on the other (maybe swapping them)and throwing them into the skeleton bunker at the back of the other units. Idea is to basically point and mow down whatever is in front, throw the helm of the GG, raise those ghouls to 30 models a piece for combat while throwing the speed of light at the ghouls and raising some extra models off the start. Zombies and Spirit hosts will be used to deny the flanks as well.

another idea to try might be to build a hybrid lord;
red fury, forbidden lore (light), extra magic Lv. blood drinker, accursed armour, crown of duuur!
stick him into the grave guard unit and now every kill the lord makes will heal back a fallen guard.
you could then give your thrall;
forbidden lore (VC lore), helm of commandment.
the only real downside here is that without speed of light, your lord is only I4... still, T6 and a 4+ ward will be tough to chew through. plus, even if your lord's spell get dispeled, you can then throw a VDM attempt with your necro as well.
just something to consider is all.
anyways, hope this helps, and good luck in your tourny!
i just thought i would give my 2 cents on summoning powers, while you may never want to risk rolling one dice it still allows u to make ur ghouls in this case bigger than there starting number which can come in handy.
