I think you should take some other units such as a banshee or some spirithosts, VC are very good at bulking out units of Skellies and making new ones so I wouln't take such large units. Also your Wight Lord can't have a great weapon and the sword of kings. Feel free to disagree with any of this, I don't play VC so everything I know about them is from playing them.

You can not take a two handed weapon and a magic weapon, one or the other. I think you should take the sword of kings, it will allow you to take a shield and can be really mean in challenges especially with the gem of blood.

Great weapons are terrific on thralls. I wouldn't take one on a wight lord. Technically, he could have both the great weapon and the sword of kings; you'd have to declare before each combat which he is using. But who would pass up a 33% chance of killing blow?

Give at least one unit of skeletons hand weapons. This, along with shields and light armor, will give you a save of 4+ in hth. Spears don't. Personally, I like a unit of each: one with spears, one with light armor, handweapons and shields. Most people don't use spears at all.

I agree with Wite, kind of. When you'r ready to add some units, stick to core units to start. Dire wolve and ghouls are great additions. But so are fell bats and spirit hosts. Definitely spirit hosts over bat swarms. Also, when you can get another necromancer who's not mounted do it. That one on the horse will be a BIG target and won't last long.

Oh yeah. take the enchanted shield instead of the gem of blood. That gem has cost me many, many wounds. The shiled gives you a better save and its cheaper. (You don't get the hth combat bonus with magical weapons/armor like you do on the skeletons)

    Hope that helped.
