    Just wrote this list i think it looks alright i just want some other vc players opinion as there are none where i live.

    Vampire count lv2
    -Aura of dark majesty
    -obsidian amulet
    -sword of battle

    Lv 2 Necro
    -power familiar

    Lv2 Necro
    -book of arkhan
    -dispel scroll

    Lv 2 Necro
    -staff of damnation

    19 Skeletons
    -spears l armour f/c

    20 zombies
    -std mus

    4x 5 Dire wolves

    2 spirit host

    3 fell bats

    9 ghouls
    -ghast

    6 black knights
    -f/c
    -banner barrows

    5 black knights
    -f/c

    I like my magic and think necromancy is the best magic lore so ive gone heavy on it to make the most of it even khorne and dwarves are gunna struggle against 11power dice and 2 bounds, i wanna know what you think of the troops selection bearing in mind i can probably create big unit of zombies on first turn.

    these are good.
    19 Skeletons

    bad, spears are a nono, your focus is not to kill, it is too outnumber and shields ar much better.
    20 zombies
    -std mus
    too many, you will summon a whole lot. 15 is good, also get a unit of 12 as a zombie bunker
    4x 5 Dire wolves
    good but 4 is more than enough, 2 is good
    2 spirit host
    good
    3 fell bats
    good, get another unit
    9 ghouls
    -ghast
    cool
    6 black knights
    -f/c
    -banner barrows

    It is general consensus, that one big unit is more effective than two small (especially with a character/ Also it is much scarier

    Looks good. Only advise I have is to replace the necro with the power familiar with a thrall with the cursed book and mount the vampire and the thrall. That way you still have 8 pd and 2 bound items.

    You need another fighty character and the cursed book is very good. Making everything need 4's to hit your skellies/zombies no matter what WS they are is the key to turning combats into your favor.

    Everything i was going to say has being covered damn you orkimedes .

    One thing that was missed is that a ghast for 10 points just isnt worth it. Take another ghoul for less points and split the unit into two fives.

    Sorry, daek eagle. Atleast I left you the ghouls :shifty: . Also sylvester, he explained that he wanted a lot of magic and if he wans 3 necros let it be. I don't agree with heavy magic either ( I generally just use scroll caddies) but if he doesn't dmiscast you are looking at a wole load of skellies and magical charges (which is also why 1 big squad oof knights is better)

    Thanks for your opinions im keeping all the necros and with the vampire im swapping the sword for either an add hand weapon or great weapon. Im keeping spears with my skellies as thats what there made with and for the sake of 19 pts the unit is a bit more flexible, remember i dont have to use them i can go with h wpn and sheilds if it best suits the situation. The knights will go to one unit of 12. With the ghouls ill go for 2 units of 5.
