    1000pts VC

ohoy well i just started VC (after a break, played HE before) and ye, here my vc list:

    Thrall (von carstein) 137
    nightmare+barding+sheild+lance+walking death

    necro 1 125
lvl 2 + book of arkhan

    necro 2 (general) 145
lvl 2 + cloak of mist and shadows

    19 zombies 124 *necro 2 here
    standard

    19 zombies 124 * necro 1 here
    standard

    5 dire wolves 50

    8 ghouls 64

5 black knights 141 *thrall here
    barding+standard

thats 894 pts! i got 106 pts left... thinking of adding 1 unit of 15 zombies, for an extra block in the center.
    tactics:
zombies march in the center (march 1st turn, maybe second) and tie up enemy units, while the black knights stay a bit behoind then trying to get a flank charge or take out enemy center flankers, my ghouls and direwolves hold one flank each or one toghter advancing forward.

so what do you say?? sounds ok??

This list isnt as flexible as i would like it to be, so i think you should take something with all round goodness a banshee.

Take a banshee, then with the remaining points add 2 ghouls to the pack, then split it into 2 units of 5.

Hope this helps, and your battle plan works.

Yes but being ethereal as long as you keep her out of LOS of any Wizards she should be fine as there isnt going be that many magical attacks in a 1k battle, just dont let her be the target of many if any spells and she should be worth her points. Hope it helps.

    Thankyou for reading.

Try and give a necromancer the staff of damnation as it is devastating IMO.
