Welcome to Librarium Online!
I have been a fantasy player for about 5 years and have played my fair share of battles. I am currently looking to start a new army, but i cant decide which one. It cant be too expensive as i have other stuff to pay for, and i want it to be a fun force. I already have a DE, skaven, and Chaos army so i want something different. I am tired of my DE and Chaos stratagy of charging straight towards the enemy, i want to have to think and plan. I have been looking at the VC's and they seem like a cool army. Also been looking at Ogres and WE, any suggestions?
Rumours say that VC is getting a remake "soon", maybe within a year or so (?). I would consider putting VC on hold until that time, and work on one of the other armies you mentioned while you wait (for economic reasons if nothing else).
Rork edit: Woah! Check your spelling - you only give "special chocies" to your girlfriend.
Well, thanks for the info. I do actually have to "finish" my Chaos army, which means buy some units that I might use in the future. Thanks though, I will take that into consideration.
I hope that the come out with new Wight models, they need a remake................

I believe this should be in the main thread about choosing WFB armies. If you want a change of charging ahead, try dwarfs.
"Like frenzied beasts, they was. But I tell you, there was never a sweeter sound than the howls of the Wulfen that night."
Sgt. Pridman, veteran of the Tlax slaughter
An army where you really need to think, is probably a woodelf ambusher army, take a look at it in the GW site, it explains a lot of the tactica.
Nice models too.

Actually, I have every army book for fantasy, the whole "know your enemy thing". WE I have also really considered, thanks though. I just want some outside advice, I really appreciate it.
