Has anyone ever tried using a Strigoi with Hand of Dust and Infinite Hatred? It seems to me like it would work really well, what with the re-rolling, but it also really limits his attacks... any opinions?
Well HoD is nasty enough as it is, and with a reroll, thats just harsh. Just incase the magic fails though, always try and have a backup. Also im not sure on the point costs, but he could do with some protection (ward?) too. Just incase.
well if you have a count/lord with Massive Monstrosity, Infinite Hatred, and Iron sinews then he's already pretty badass, getting HoD on top of that would just be a perk.
But anyways, I think Strigoi are probably best suited for using HoD with their infinite hatred.

I wouldn't use it. He's nasty in combat already, why force him to kill only one model? It would be nice to see him drop an enemy general but the possibilities of that happening are against you. You're better off using a Wight Lord with the Sword of Kings for that job. Have the Strigoi munch rank in file models, its what he does best.
HoD, IMO, works best on a Necromancer with Hellish Vigour cast. Its a nasty little surprise.
Useful against big guys, not so useful against regular guys.
2000AD's answer to all "How do VC deal with ..." questions: Forbidden Lore + 2 Power Stones.
Further answers will require more vodka.
Ahh ok wugg, Im not too sure on the full VC rules. Still, i do know Strigoi Lords can be hard as nails anyway, so boot him up with bloodline powers. If you have the spell as a backup, then if it is needed cast it to fell things such as giants or Rhinox riders (ive seen 2 of those fall)
