Hi just a few question on the new vc book (had a quick read at my local gw),
one of the bloodline powers 'red fury' states that 'any unsaved wound grant you an extra attack' now can this be combined with the 'black axe of krell' which states 'causes d3 wounds'?
Does this also mean that every would caused turns into d3 that the opponent can then attempt to save?
That each unsaved wound multiplies into d3 then I get my additional attacks?
Sorry if I confused anyone but help would be much appreciated.
You cannot give both the "Black Axe of Krell" and "Red Fury" to the same model.
When life gives you anything, charge it with Genestealers.
Alarm clock? Genestealers.
Your boss? Genestealers.
The rednecks that cut in front of me at Wal-mart like I didn't have anything better to do than stand in line? Genestealers.
Though even if you could combine the two I would still say no for the same reason I say no to Konrad getting two attacks with his Red Fury and double wound dealing sword.
Simply put the opponent only saves against one of the wounds caused. If it is not saved then it becomes more wounds. Since the Red Fury specifies 'Unsaved Wounds' only the one wound that was rolled against would grant an extra attack as the extra wounds were never rolled against o be saved or not saved. I believe the cannon was used as a reference in the Konrad thread as a good example of only one wound being saved against and that if failed became more.
However the point is mute as the two things cannot be combined.
Do not question the dice gods for their wrath is swift and terrible.
thanks for clearing that up ;Y
