Welcome to Librarium Online!
I'm just a bit bored at the moment so I thought I'd post these pictures that I've had uploaded for a month or so. Just wanted some people to see. I'm quite proud of myself as I've painted both my eldar and vampire counts this holiday, first time I've had 2 full armies painted for a long time. Hopefully when I have another 2k game I will take my camera. I don't have a gaming board at home
Most of these were taken the night before a 1200 point tournament so its not my entire army, obviously I didn't use the lone bloodknight and bat in the army list!
I came 3rd out of about 35 people which I thought was pretty good. My list was 2 vampires, 3 rank and file units along with 2 units of 5 direwolves and a varghulf.
Anyway let me know what you think.
They look really good!
One thing I have to say though, is that the flesh of the Dire Wolves is too bright imo. If it a darker, more rotting flesh, it would look cooler.
I LOVE them! Im trying to do an ""icy"" theme right now with my armors and ghoul colors to fit with my snowy Transylvania theme, I will have to upload and send you some pictures
Vampire Counts-4000 Points
Black Templars-2000 Points
You finally posted some pics! Huzzah!
They look very impressive, though a pic of the whole army would be nice as I'd like to see what the contrast between the wolves and the rest of the army is like.
BEN DIESEL FTW!!!
Nice painting Doc. I was thinking of a similar theme for my army. Keep up the good work.
Yes I have to admit I spent very little time on the wolves, just drybushed and washed, I might try and touch them up a little. I think if I get a replacement unit I will do them with a kind of blue fur with a more rotten flesh. They do look abit fresh don't they?
I'll try and get a full picture on a gaming board as soon as I arrange a game and will also include my graveguard, wraiths and new character conversions.
Anyway I'd love to see other peoples armies also.
nice - I like the way you have used a consistent colour scheme throughout (excepting the wolves of course)
That is quite alot of "icy" blue (teal?) there :]
I like to see the rotting flesh , of the dire wolves, a different color than the fur. Though I did like the bright red muscle.
You have a pic of two blood knights, and the one in the back is on Archon's horse. I would like to see a better pic of that
I really liked the way the icy blue/gray ties the army into a whole.
Waiting on more pics!
Wow, great job!
what about zombies? how will you make them fit with that brilliant color scheme...?
