Welcome to Librarium Online!
I thinking about buy Nazgul (Ringwraiths) in The Lord of The Ring to replace it with Vampire Counts Cairn Wraith model. I think it kind look a like. To say it simple I want to use a modle Nazgul (Ringwraiths) to play as Vampire Count Carin Wraith.
I want to know that is the size of the model can be replace. I afraid that the model of Nazgul will be smaller or bigger than Vampire Counts Cairn Wraith.
Have anyone try to do this alreay or any know how the size of Nazgul is it look good if I use it for Vampire Counts Cairn Wraith.
I believe that the Lord of the Rings models are not the same scale as the Warhammer models. You might also run into issues at tournaments since GW doesn't own the rights to the Lord of the Rings.
A wraith with an angels body, demon with a smile of gold. You soul sucker, I won't become like you. -Atreyu
Yep. I just want to use if for friendly match which the main thing is that because I like Nazgul model ^^
I ended up using a Castellan of Dol Gur (which, in the Lord of the Rings world is, I think, sort of what the Ringwraiths were before they were properly Ringwraiths) and didn't really notice any problems sizewise.
I think the detail in LOTR models is a little worse then in Fantasy models, but again, not much of an issue.
Basically, I haven't noticed a problem.
So the is the scale of Nazgul is ok to be use for Wraith?
LOTR models are 25 mm scale, WHFB is 28mm. You will notice that they are a little bit smaller, but as mentioned it won't be a problem. Wraiths don't need to be huge anyway.
As for detail, I think the LOTR plastic models are pretty basic and rubbish. But they have some absolutely fantastic metal models with heaps of detail on them.
Thank a lot guy ^^
I forget to say that I plan to use them to join unit with Banshee too>.< will it will be look like a giant Banshee?
edit: You can just edit your posts. : )
