    alternative necromancer models

I am looking for a good necro to mount on a corpse cart-- but all of the GW necros I find lacking-- can anyone recommend or link me some nice alternate necromancer 28 mm miniatures?

pretty much any other wizard model. My current favourite is the empire wizard plastic box. You can make 2 and with a tiny bit of conversion get some rather nice models.

I looked at that -- but I feel its a little much for 4 plastic wizards to pay 20 bucks

but I may order it just for kicks

Yet it's cheaper than buying 2 blisters for the metal necromancers, and you get a stack more options and they are easier to convert.

If you are complaining about 4! wizards with blister for 20 dollars, just stop this hobby now before you become one of those bitter people who play warhammer and buy gw stuff and just complain the entire time.

Aside from the empire wizards which are good value and excellent models, have a look at Tau ethereals. Link. I'm using the middle guy with a bit of converting for a necromancer, the one on the right would also work well.

I like my characters to stand out so I usually do conversions to GW models or find non-gw models here are a few necromancers from non gw: They are all on scale with warhammer and made by reaper.

My necromancer is a banshee model (the biggest one, with the large dress) with a brettonian hand and pole and on top of that an imperial wizard staff head (the scythe).

All i had to do was pose her differently and model in eyes, that's it!
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.
