Welcome to Librarium Online!
So I really dislike the model for the zombie dragon and was thinking that I would use the plastic high elf dragon and sorta make it more of a spectral dragon than a zombie dragon....I don't really have the arm for converting so making the elf dragon "zombified" would be difficult, opposed to painting (that I can do) the dragon so it looks like a spectre. Tell me what yall think or maybe a simple conversion I could do to make it seem better.
Not that great at converting things myself. That's why when I make my zombies from other races, I mostly use shadow grey for their skin, givig them a dead look.
I think a lot of people feel the same way you do about the dragons. I have no issue with the zombie dragon model, but the high elf one is definately the best. As much as I'd like to offer some real painting adivce, I think the painting section of the forum might hve some more expert advice.
I am heading off to the Peace Corps. It is bery likely I will not be back. Good luck to all of you endeavors.
Personally I love the zombie dragon model but that's a preference.
That sounds pretty cool though, a spectral dragon thing, you can say the -1 to hit due to the cloud of flies is cuz its not fully spectral but not fully there. you could cut the tail or more off of the dragon and have him emerging through something, like a stone or tree to show him just flying through it. That's about the only conversion I can think of for a spectral dragon.

thanks a ton I think I shall do that now to the painting forum for colors!
I'vee seen allot of folks talking about using this reaper model for their zombie dragon, and I'd like to do the same.

I have not seen pictures of a VC conversion so I am not sure of scale, etc.
