Welcome to Librarium Online!
I'm new to Vampire counts, and I was reading the introduction to VC on the games workshop website and I read, "Remember that the Varghulf's Regeneration save protects it against Wounds suffered from losing a combat". I cant find anything about the regeneration save affecting wounds suffered by combat resolution in the VC army book. So im wondering where this regeneration save thing is coming from, is it like undead constructs like from Tomb Kings?
As I am sure you know VC crumble if they lose combat...instead of running away...in the new edition regeneration and ward saves are allowed against these wounds caused....the rules for crumbling can be found under the Rules section of the Army Book for VC's....crumbling i slike daemons 'popping'
Good luck, and may the dice gods smile upon you and smite your foes
what is the latest VC army book, im lookin at the 7th edition.
Read under the general rules that apply to the whole army (page 33) under the section for break tests. It talks about when you lose battle by so many points, you're undead take that many wounds without armor saves being allowed. But Regen and Ward saves can both still be taken.
Hope that helps! Anymore questions you can PM me and I'll answer them to the best of my ability, I'm relatively still a newby also (been playing since August).

Note that this only goes for VC, not Tomb Kings as well, though they'll probably get it when their book gets redone.
