I'd like to start FaBa, after a long break from the 40k. I thought I'd pick Vampire Counts just for the fluff. Then I scouted through a lot of forums and all and I saw a lot of people converting their armies from empire and bretonnian models. This got me so excited. Now, I'm not that good of a sculptor or anything but I'd like to make a small patrol with a bretonnian theme. So I'm asking, how would you achieve this? Combine men@arms and skellies? Thanks.
errr... sorry... I guess my army is a VC themed Brettonian army and not a Brettonian themed VC army like what you want to do. I didn't read your post properly!
I'm actually doing the same thing right as we speak. I bought a bunch of Tomb King Horsemen, and I'm converting them into blackknight/KOTR/errant knights/questing knights. I'm using great weapons from the grave guard and cutting up a bunch of grave guard in general to serve as my questing knights. The KOTR and errant knights will have spears and sheilds taken from skeletons. I don't plan to use too many peasants, but I'm taking the bows and arrows from the TK horsemen and putting them on regular skeletons so they can serve as peasant bowmen. I plan to also put a couple simple bows and arrows on TK horsemen so I can have a couple units of mounted yeomen just so I can have something to trigger any fanatics. I've already converted a bunch of chaos knights to serve as my bloodknights/grailknights.
I imagine if I wanted to have Men at Arms I would just use zombies, but my goal from the start was to created a mostly all mounted knight army.

Combine zombies and men at arms. use skellie skulls for black knights. Bret themes are great and cheaper as bret cavalry are cheaper to buy so it is all the more reason.
Daemonic cheese-how? Well, you would need to start with daemonic milk, i guess...
