I've noticed that natural weapons on most beasts are considered hand weapons and I'm wondering how it affects an unarmed Vamp Lord since you cannot use weapons when you have The Bear's Anger cast on you. How does this work? And does going unarmed count as having a weapon in either hand (claw/claw or whatever it would be). An example of this is the weapons used by Dire Wolves, Ghouls, Fell Bats etc.
The spells bears anger does exactly what it says. It does not give you an extra attack for '2xHW'. It gives you exactly 3 attacks 2 strength and 1 toughness. Any special bonus you would receive for using any weapon or shield is null and void such as: Lance +2 str, +1 attack from duel wielding, etc.
Unarmed models are always considered armed with one hand weapon unless specifically specified otherwise.
i.e. Ghouls receive 2 attacks because their characteristic states so, not because of having two 'hand' weapons.
Exactly as Naque has said
Thats why in most cases (unless stated) Frenzy is not put into the profile, same goes Additional Hand Weapons, Halberds etc etc
