Well, the Vampire Counts forum is probably one of the quitest forums in the Warhammer Armies section, so how can we increase this activity? Ask more questions? Engage in a few more conversations or even arguments about different items.
We could call each other names? (Hmm... Don't think the mods will like that one...)
Petition GW to release a new Vampire Counts Army Book? New books always get activity up again! (And our chances of success are... microscopic?)
I don't really know, to be honest. I always thought activity just waxed and waned with new releases. There's only so many times you can ask the same questions!
Unless we want to have some kind of VC specific competition?
> Paint up a VC mini (either own choice or everyone paints the same one) and have a vote-off to see who's is judged as the best?
> Some kind of writing related challenge? Perhaps select an event from the VC history, and we can each write an interpretation of it or something? Or just a general fiction challenge, or a collaborative writing challenge or something?
> Our own little Arena of Death using only Vampires? Would we fight each other or fight generic monsters or Lords from other armies?
Just a few ideas, I don't know if others have something they've been wanting to try...
Indeed. This kind of thing tends to be fairly cyclical. This time of year tends to be fairly bad for most forums, as there are exams, upcoming exams, increased work in some instances, Christmas-based preparations etc.
For now, the best you, or anyone really, can do is post topics that ask valid questions or make points of discussion, as those are what make people post in forums. Likewise, taking part in threads doesn't hurt .
But like I say, give it time and activity will increase again. If it's happening to the Empire forum, it'll happen to what was once LO's most active FB forum.
