Forbidden Lore is a great vampire power. Not only do you still get to keep ION but your vamp knows an entire lore of your choosing. The hardest part about taking Forbidden Lore is figuring out lore working well against what opponent. I would love to see this end up in a complete tactica thus I am looking for some input. What Lores to take vs what opponents and tactics to go along with them.
"Ah, but the truth is like an expensive whore, Jerek. She comes in many dresses and will bend over for any with the money to pamper her." ~ Konrad von Carstein
vs bretonnians IMO it should be either the Lore of beasts (getting "The Beast Cowers" off on his 9 strong grail knight unit is priceless, or lore of metal (to snipe characters and take out enemy magic items before charging them with cairn wraiths)
vs WOC, Lore of metal to kill off the Knights and stuff
vs empire and dwarves go Fire or metal to disable enemy war-machines
all i can thinks of atm, its late maybe more tomorrow
To Sleep Tzeentch shall come for us all in the end.
Perchance to Dream To change the living, to the dead.
i would imagine that lore of fire would be good against wood elves and tomb kings, not to mention that flaming sword spell is dangerous.
I use Beasts a lot, bears anger is amazing for a combat vampire and the hunters spear is amazing for an army with no war machines.
