I was reading through the VC errata and noticed that it says ignore page 88 when choosing your army.
I was wondering if this includes the requirement for a vampire to be general.
If so, an army with a wight king as general backed up with vampire casters might be a good way to have a well protected general without spending hundreds of points.
Is this correct, and if so would any of you use a wight king instead of a lord to save points?
I agree Wolf_PAck, but I think he's asking whether it was an oversight and we do still have to have a Vampire leading the army. Interesting question but as the FAQ specifically states ignore pg.88, I would assume that as written, you could lead with a non-vampire, though I feel this is an oversight.
As for would I ever do it - Not on your life...Vampire Lords are too good to pass up, and though expensive they still bring a lot of BANG to the table.
the general is still the model with the highest LD unles 2+ have same LD then choose one of them and isnt that the Vamp lord for VC? unless u wanna skip on points and have no lords
