Welcome to Librarium Online!
I'm working on my vampire army for Halloween. I was wondering do I need to get an extra army of zombies or skeletons. So when I play the game and my vampire raises more living dead. I can have a unit to represent them.
It's always handy, if you have the bloodline power that allows you to raise units past their starting size, to have some 'spares' to put on the board. And spare zombies as well, for raising spells.
If your opponent is okay with it, though, you could get away with just using a handful of bases to represent the raised units. At least then you can concentrate on the main bulk of your army and get that ready to use first.
you will always need zombies whether or not you pay points for them this is just a raw fact (I use my dark elves for zombies) and you will need spare skeles/ghouls if you take the vampire powers to allow you to take them above their starting size but worry about that once you haev your main force built and painted most players i know will be mroe than happy for stand in models as long as they are thesame size size as i stated i used my DE infantry to stand in for zombies DE CoK's as blood knights my Sorce on dark peg is my vamp on hellstead eventually i'll have to replae the zombies with real ones but for ow im concentrating on my main force and spare skels/ghouls as i dotn personally have anything to tand in for those when i get more than i start with.
most of the time you probably got some dead units
but spares are always handy
