Welcome to Librarium Online!
i need some help on what i should buy first.
i want to use a necromancer for my general and like alot of magic.
i'd say buy some zombies first cos they're so much fun to build. you could even buy an empire swordsman boxset as well and convert 40 undead empire swordsmen.

Welcome to the wonderful world of the undead. The necromancer idea is interesting and really revolves around you swamping other armies with skeletons and zombies - not that bad, but possibly lacking in long term interest. In this respect I'd recommend having another look at those blood lines again, just to see what you might like.
However, either way, you're going to need skeletons and zombies - they're the core units of any VC army, whether you play necromantically or not. As Twinkazz says, you can mod some other figures, but at this point i'd recommend just buying either of those boxes and start by putting them together.
There are various threads about the benefits of skeletons and zombies - but buying either will be fine. You'll need to get at least 3 regiments up and running (towards a 2000 point army), then you can buy into the specials and rares.
Mordheim: Middenheimers & Night Goblins
so i can't get gravegured right now?
Dark Eldar: The Kabal Of the Black Heart: Bloody Claw division.
Black Legion: Division 666
Vampire Counts Von Castein Bloodline: w/l/t
Fill up with skeletons and zombies first before getting the more expensive stuff.
I don't even think I have enough yet, close to 60 skeletons (some are crossbow) and 20 zombies.
Zombies may be fun to stick together, but for such a useless unit they are quite hard to paint. There are several different colour details on them, rotting skin, clothing, bloodied areas and weapons, so they can be a pain to paint. Skeletons are very thin so not the easiest to assemble, though you get used to it, and painting them is no problem. Plus they are a bit better than zombies.
I find zombies quite easy to paint.
you can do either a whole colour theme- (all green with black ink)
OR you can be like me......
and have a lot of different colours (shades of green, brown and grey) and drybrush or inks as they can show the different stages of decay the zombies are at
How victory may be produced for them out of the enemy's
own tactics--that is what the multitude cannot comprehend.
