Welcome to Librarium Online!
Now, im not sure if this is even allowed so correct me if Im doing something wrong, however I think Ive found something nice.
There is a box set by mantic games, well, two actually that I am thinking of purchasing.
Called, kings of war undead sets, elite and hoarde I think.
The models themselves are quite nice, they are all modelled onto 20mm bases, so they work fine with most units.
Im just wondering if anyone thinks they would be passable and able to use in a vampire counts army?
I won't post the link, as im fairly certain that is against the rules. (google is your freind)
Let me know what you all think?
Personaly i love the models. Gives your army an Evil Dead Army of Darkness look to it. Ghouls look great, zombies, great, Skeletons great, Revanants look great though you may want to do some conversions for GWs. The Wraiths are my favorite looking unit out of the lot, but i would stay away from the knights. I got myself some for my army but found they were a bit on the small size, with my dire wolves being big as the horses. Models look good but it just a shame they were not bigger.
If you go down the mantic route, the only real problem you will have is using the models in some GW ran tournaments (normaly they just say your army cant be photographed or win painting prizes for the od model but a full on army they may just say no all together), and you wont be able to use the army in a gw store. SO you just need to consider how you want to use them before diving all in.
Ahaha, Man Ive already used these models in a games workshop store.
People are pretty chill in Australia I guess.
I have found that they are a tad too small, in fact they look a bit silly next to me Blood knights(chaos knights).
Regardless, They are a nice cheap alternative and they don't look too bad at all.
