Welcome to Librarium Online!
I'd like to begin to brainstorm about the lists we could be using with the new dynamic of the army book. Personally, I can imagine there being a Combat Vamp/lvl4 Necro build:
Lvl 4 necro
Vamp Lord - reasonably kitted out for combat
Lvl 2 Necro
0-1 wight king
Terrorgheist/Black Coach/Varghulfs/Blood Knights/Engine
As well as this I see a Vamp Spam and Necro Spam type list, as well as some more themed around old Bloodlines, for instance Strigoi, Blood Dragons or Lahmian. What else do you guys think? Anything you've been thinking over lately?

I think the strigoi is one of the better picks for a combat lord if you give him skaby.
A Ghoul King with Skabscrath would be very good on a Terrorgheist because they could unleash two death shrieks each time they attacked. This would be devastating to most units and if combined with aura of dark majesty it would be even worse. I think that if a Ghoul King is given a magic weapon it needs to be a good one like the sword of bloodshed or a gaint balde. This is because they lose the use of the poisoned ability when they use another weapon. If they are going to lose something they pay for automatically they should replace it with something worth while.
Use the screaming banner on a Vampire battle standard bearer. Give the Vampire aura of dark majesty and fear incarnate. This will make any fear tests an enemy unit has to take very hard. This could be good for attacking or defending against big nasty units like knights and also preventing weaker units from mobbing the battle standard.
A Vampire Lord or Ghoul King could take the sword of bloodshed and also use red fury. This would generate huge numbers of attacks on the Ghoul King most of all because of his infinite hatred giving him rerolls and even more hits with potential wounds. A Vampire Lord could make up for this by using the quickblood ability. Against enemies with a lower WS he/she will get to reroll to hit with the rules of always strikes first.
