Ive been doing some pondering at work today about our heroes section. Most of use have a good Idea about the merits and uses about Vampires and Necromancers, but what about the other three the Wight King, Tomb Banshee and Cairn Wraiths.
I have some ideas about there uses but I want to see what the wider communities views are the same and hopefully get some new ideas about using them.
Wight Kings. Tougher, has killing blow and more wounds than vampires but slower, 1 less attack and lower weapon skill. I personally see these guys with protective gear as challenge makers to prevent your Vampire Lord or Master Necro getting nobled by combat heroes.
Tomb banshee. Ethereal and Terror causer. I originally used her to boost offensive power of units but recently I've been deploying her on her own and screaming my opponents units when he least expects it and only jumping into units if my Necro bunker gets threatened as one of them goes into the second rank. she's also proved useful stood with spirit hosts as an ethereal screen
Cairn Wraiths. Ethereal and a Terror causer again, I find these more useful to boost my units by making Zombies units with Terror and to Chill Grasp on enemy Characters and tougher units. normally use these in Zombie tar-pits.
Yes people i know that my spelling and punctuation is awful but I am product of British teaching pollicies so what can I do about it?
I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head. Wight kings make good standard bearers. I Personally like to run necromancers giving me more invocations every round, but I want to try some tomb banshees as they look like they can be really effective.
