I'm just getting back into counts and have played a few games with their new rule book. I am realizing I need some new models in my army to spice things up and add some hurt. Generally I try to avoid super cheap unkillable units, but I do like to win (as we all do), so anything that you think would help would be most appreciated.
So far I have:
Vlad + 4Vamps (one on horse or zombie dragon)
1 Wight Kings (one on horse, one not)
1 BSB (could be vamp or WK since it's just the empire banner guy painted undead-like)
3 Necros (one on foot, 2 in corpse carts)
9 Black Knights
2 corpse carts
4 wraiths and a banshee
Thanks again for taking time to read this post!
That is the problem with the new book, almost all the units can be used effectively in very different situations. Really depends on play style and army your playing. The hex wraiths are fun, the bat giving always strikes last works great, zombies are fun now. The new vargheists and crypt horrors are fun as well
So pick the models you like the look of and build from there
