    Character Sniping

How do you prepare for it in low points games without hampering your characters roles too much? Lore of Shadows is particularly nasty as it gets round "look out sir" and other examples such as multiple Hochlands.

You could take just one tooled up vampire in a low points game - he should be more then a match for any enemy hero who dares cross swords with him, and can have enough protection to be relatively safe from harm.

If you are having problems with hochland rifles then why not screen him - a unit of hexwraiths makes a fantastic character screen and are pretty dangerous against empire, who have no easy way to deal with them.
