Heinrich in 2000 points i like having lotsa magic and henirch seemed right without going over the top and what is a good magic based army lists with a black coach maybe ??
"Fight like gobbos"- Skarsnik
It has been said before and I will say it again:
Theming an entire army around a special character will get extremly boring and repeditive after a while.
If you like magic heavy then just choose necrach bloodline.
Its a toss up between a strong army of Strigoi or Heinrich and his necromacers summoning heaps
"Fight like gobbos"- Skarsnik
like bobby said, it gets very boring basing an army around a special character, even though heinrich is a very fun character to play. Just use a necromancer army if you want mostly magic, or even a magicaly based von carstein army, but I would lean away fro mthe necrarchs unless your in a very large battle.
Bag of Chips, Chaos Warmaster

Only death will be guarding your angels, silently
Cripples joining arms in clamour
Institutionalized for the rebirth, the herd will be hunted
Hes powerful but i dont like him, liche masters arent very VCish. Still, being able to cast invocation any number of times is great, and that krull guy is absolutely the most amazingly powerful hero choice ive ever seen. a 4+ ward greatweapon/killingblow on 5+ w/ chaos armour is pretty damn amazing for only 200 points, and he even has 4 attacks. And he doesnt even take up more than one hero choice! But anyways,it would be good for a while, but dont base your whole army around him. Special characters should be used to spice up the game sometimes,or if your oppon ent is getting a bit cheesy with his lists. Its even ok to make a list built around him and use it in regular games alot but remember that hes not there for standard lists, most tournies wont allow him and if you take him against friends every game you'll the one who will be looking cheesy.
I thought about running a 2000 pt army with Kemmler and Krell against a lizardman army. I'm pretty new so it's not stale for me yet to build around special characters. I thought it'd give me good magic and strong fighting but I hate to lost another hero slot. What's a good third character to complement this? A wight lord for the black guard, maytbe? Another necromancer for added magic?
Well since it is supposed to be a magic army I would go with another necro

"Quantity has a Quality of it's own"
Hot damn, new rule for the Lichemaster! So what do you guys think?
My first impression was, "Hmm, not that much better." But after rereading them, I think they're valuable.
What I don't like...Kemmler is expensive! Existing units can't be invoked past their starting size. Krell's leadership dropped drastically; he'll be stupid just over half of the game!
I always liked this duo. Kemmler is one hell of a magic user, so this new list interests me.
I do like the improvements on the spells. They are minor improvements, but minor improvements to an already potent list is quite a bit.
You're seemingly confusing Invocation of Nehek and Djedra's Incantation of Summoning.
DIoS allows one to restore any slain models in any unit back to (un)life. It can repair chariots and war machines, provided a part of the unit still exists. Even if the amount of raised models would allow for the unit's size to increase from the original, the unit's size won't increase past it's original model count.
IoN allows one to create new Zombies or Skeleton Warriors and use them to create a new unit or bolster an existing one, even increase the unit's size past what it originally was.
Use Light, Beasts, Metal instead of Heavens
NecroLords: Use at least one Death Mage
Brets: Use Peasants&Damsels
Skaven: Don't use Skryre SAD
