their isn't much mentioned about Wraiths in these fourms. I was wondering are they any good, and worth buying for a new army?

    Thanks

You're talking 40k dark reapers, right? You're in the fantasy side, try posting / looking on the 40k side for some answers!

What kind of weapons did they have? Are you sure you saw them with a VC army?

I think you refer to the Wraith? Grim Reaper looking hero?

Maybe, that's what I was thinking of too.

Aah. wraits... A normal wraith is very good against heros that has forgotten their magical weapon at home. And he causes terror which is VERY good. so even the scaries creature can flee..

I'm quite fond of a Wraith carrying the Cursed Book in a decent sized unit of Skellies.

I've used it a couple of times and its worked rather well.

You can also use him to hold the flank against goblin armies. Watch as their blocks of warriors barrelling down your flank turn and run away once within 6" of a wraith

I haven't tried it, but I'm guessing a wraith with the cursed book leading a unit of Black Knights would do pretty well.

    Anyone tried it?
