At 300 Points my choices seem to be

Band 1
Vampire Thrall, Heavy Armour and Shield
5 Dire Wolves
7 Skeletons
Banshee

Or

Band 2
Vampire Thrall, Horse
4 Dire Wolves
3 Black Knights
8 Skeletons

Any thoughts as to which would be better for the warband.

Also I still get the two "From Death Awakened". Shouldn't this be lessened for the warband?

No, because your opponent will have at minimum, 2 dispel dice for 2 bound level 4 spells.

Yeah, you still get the two grave markers.

I assume in warbands you do not need to stick to minimum unit sizes? I think the first list is better, use the grave markers to boost that skeleton unit and outnumber your opponents, fear is your friend here, the thrall could maybe benefit from a great weapon? Or at such low points I guess opponents wouldn't have great armour, maybe an extra hand weapon to get more attacks and kill more.

3 is IIRC, the Warband minimum unit size for bog standard infantry

it says you get two. in anything less than 500 you get one though, i think.

take two big blocs of infantry. the first one is better but drop the banshee and wolves for more militia.

Yeah it is, I have never heard anything for less than 500 point games being any different but it would be getting a bit powerful to have two of them in so little points...

in the US WD warband rules it says that the army of sylvania gets 1 grave marker for less than 500 points, in the SoC army exceptions to the warband rules.
