skellys: body :chaos black undercoat , heavy drybrush of bleached bone
weapons :mithril silver
shield: dwarf bronze trim and centerpiece with shining gold and mithril silver drybrushed over that , for the middle red gore.
zombies : chaos black undercoat , drybrush skin with dark angels green , drybrush skin again with goblin green , paint clothes in ramdom colours and metal probly mith silver
just the main 2 for the moment i will post more when i have decided , it will probly take some time but i hope you lot post yours too !

vampire counts ( under construction)
am thinking about starting it again
currently working on :
second unit of skellys
most likely thing next :
another box of skellys .....
I paint my skeletons by undercoating them black, then all raised areas snakebite leather then drybrush a 50/50 mix of snakebite and bleached bone then a 25/75 drybrush small then an even smaller area drybrushed with bleached bone and then skull white highlights. I know it sounds longer but it gives them a nice look.
I don't have any zombies at the moment but I entend on getting about 50 soon so..
High Elves (BloodBowl)
Warseer Blood Bowl League
skeletons - dark flesh undercoat, heavy drybrush vomit brown, light drybrush bleached bone...
WHITE prime, BROWN INK + BEASTIAL brown then dry brush with bleached bone, highlighted with bleached bone mixed with skull white
I like to use lots of different methods on my skellies, it gives them a less uniform look, making them look more like mouldy old bones. For zombies it's a vomit brown basecoat for skin, with drybrushed dwarf flesh and a heavy drybrushing of rotting flesh. The clothes are painted however I feel like, as long as they appear different and non uniform.
Because I promised someone I would:
Skellies - I went with quick and easy on these guys. White undercoat and literally dipped them in brown ink, then did a light dry brush of Beastial Brown. Gives them a good freshly muddied appearance. All metal is good and rusty as well.
Zombies - Black undercoat, then went over it with white. Drybrush of Rotting Flesh. Random colors for their clothing with a light going over with brown to get the dirty look.
Ghouls - Black undercoat, heavy drybrush of dark purple, lighter drybrush of warlock purple, and a very light drybrush of tenticle pink. Then got a toothbrush and red gore and splattered the whole lot to give a very gory appearance.
The rest of my army is pretty color coordinated. I went with a purple, black, silver theme for Grave Guard, Black Knights, Characters, and my Black Coach.
May not be the best paint job, but I like.
I'll try to get pics up sometime.
That sounds cool servo, I look forward to the pics!
Since this thread is about vc models... how do you paint your vamps? (and wights)
chaos black primer, codex grey drybrush, white drybush at last.
chaos black primer, chaos black + codex grey drybrush, codex grey + white drybush at last.
clothes is painted blue and red with lots of highlights, this matches my army's theme in red, grey and blue...
*if someone can tell me how to post a picture, i will gladly show my army *
to paint my striggle jons vampire i basecoated scorched browns and then kept adding vermin brown and rotting flesh to the brown for highlights. and i also made him have an incredibly stylin pink loincloth.
for my zombies i painted them all different, kind of a shambling hoard look. none of them are the same (mostly cause i cant remember how i did them)
