Welcome to Librarium Online!
Well my friend just got into warhammer, so my other friend is teaming up with him doing a split point army. I think we're gonna play 600 points to get him started as hes playing orge kingdoms. Hes taking 300 and other player 300, and me 600. Its orges and o+g vs my vampire counts. There any tactics? Or am i just gonna get thrashed? Also, could you supply me with a nice 600 point army list that might be able to survive? I was thinking blood dragons bloodline since they are skilled with the weapons and since im mainly fighting h+t+h units. Any ideas?
Please don't request for people to make lists up for you. It's a different story entirely asking for advice on what to field against the armies you'll be facing and asking for what works; and then posting a list for critiquing in the army list sub-forum. That's the best qway to go about it, for your future reference.
Some handy tactice can be found for VC in the Warhammer Fantasy Tactics forum, there are a couple of VC tactica that are pinned for you to read through if you're interested in how to use them.
Good luck with it all!
The iron crowned is getting closer,
Swings his hammer down on him,
Like a thunderstorm he's crushing,
Down the Noldor's proudest king.
Under my foot, so hopeless it seems.
You've troubled my day, now feel the pain.

One can't go to the Tactics forum, at least not right now, because it doesn't exist....
Use Light, Beasts, Metal instead of Heavens
NecroLords: Use at least one Death Mage
Brets: Use Peasants&Damsels
Skaven: Don't use Skryre SAD
in small games using a sylvanain list will do wonders, yiou rmagic is garunteed to be useful and work most turns with 2 bound level 4 invocation spells! even at 600 points! also you can have a powerful thrall as your leader where other armies require a necromancer in small games! also the ability to take armoured zombies and overwhelm the opposition will be very useful! magic in small games as well as numbers usually wins!
