I think ghoul mini's are really ugly: i was thinking about using other mini's for them...
...maybe necron flayed ones (i really love these minis)
what do you think about this? i'm going to buy a blister of them and try to paint them as ghouls: then i'll post the photos....
The Thousand Sons and The Ultramarines face eachother on opposite sides of a battlefield.
Bob: Move the troops into those strategic positions to face the chaos scum!
Magnus: *Eyes glow* You want to move the troops into the minefield.
Bob: *Turns to Sergeant* No, move them into the minefield instead.

Have a look at the mordheim range. It has some nice ghouls in there.
I like the ghouls! I painted them according to the instructions on the US GW site and they came out really well.
The Mordheim ones are nice, too, and worth checking out, like Cuckoo suggests.
I really like the ghoul minatures but I have two quibbles:
1) I have to add more to the loin cloths with green stuff, for decency's sake.
2) There is no ghast model. I will have to convert a hideously expensive Strigoi vampire for the job.
Otherwise I think they are great minatures.
I'd just convert some zombies. They're mostly fleshy.....
I like ghouls. They work well in the game, easy too paint (fairly) and are cute.
What I dont like about them is that only 1 of the GW models have hair!
well many of them have hair but not much.
