Using the rules for Lamian Vampires in the index of Vampire Counts, we see that we can take heroes from other army books as they serve their lady in hopes of impressing her. To this end, the question becomes whether or whether not it is feasible to create a magic-heavy army by taking casters from other armies and using them to get powers a Vampire army would never be able to get. Would it be really out of fluff to have Empire Wizards and Dwarven Runesmiths competing against each other to see who has the "magic hands?" Sigmar forbid, should a Slaaneshi sorcerer feel necrophiliac urges and decide to enter the fray? Which spellcasters would one recommend (all male-humanoid I say though; she may be dead but she's straight. So no Dark Elf Sorceresses or Bretonnian Damsels)
Or should I post an army list?
Ummm what kind of vampire chick isnt a lesbian? Darkelf Sorceress all the way.
Remember to take at least one Necro in addition to your Countess - your army are still shambling corpses that need to be constantly resurrected to keep the units in one piece.
You might already know this, but that particular army isn't "legal". You should have opponent's approval to use it, which for anything other than tournament play, probably won't be an issue. It's a cool list, though, and the idea of adding characters from another army is simply superb. You could have a kick-butt bruiser ora powerful magic user.
I'm with Teron that you should have one necromancer regardless, in addition to the countess. If you got too magic crazy, people will cry cheese on you.
I played that list once against Lizardmen and I used a Lahmian Countess, a High Elf Mage, a Dark Elf Sorceress, and an Exalted Champion of Tzeentch. All 4 of my characters plus 2 banshees directed their powers at a fully ranked unit of 20 Sauruses and wiped them out to the lizard. Your Lahmian is still a necromancer and if you keep your focus on offense than you may not be in need of raising too many more skeletons/zombies against some armies.
True, and remember that Banshees will utterly RAPE Skaven. Just be careful with those Jezzails. But the rest of the team can fry them for you.
