I shall now consider them a bunch of Renfields running around the battle feild.
With that said, I don't like them at all. They don't really seem to fit in the army, as it is supposed to be an Undead army, not Undead with some living bait on the end of a hook. But yes, I feel that the correct character to describe them is Renfield (from Dracula, if you did not know) as they are both scavengers and stooges to their Vampiric Lords.
Anyway, I'm sure no one really cares, just some more useless information for your everyday lives.
Its not that the army is supposed to be undead per say. But the army is the froces of the Dark lands which the Vampires and lords can muster up. No they don't fit into the the idea behind vampires, but they do fit in with the stragoi fluff. If you think about it they do make sence in the VC armies, they live in the forests, they eat flesh, they do seem sufficiantly evil and twisted. I think they belong in the army but not to serve the vampires(well for stragoi) but as scravangers which the vampirees offer the spoils too.
The whole point was. Ghouls are Renfield from Dracula.
As far as I see it, ghouls are a great addition to the army and have been one my best and most consistent units. As far as their fluff goes, they're grave-haunting, flesh-eating monsters. Other than a vampire's realm, where are they going to hang out? Are the Brets or Imperials going to leave a bunch of ghouls running around their cemetaries at night?
I agree except Renfield ate bugs and Ghouls eat flesh.
