skeletons, ethereals, grave guard etc etc.

the only i think i wouldnt take is zombies or ghouls if you´re aiming for a 100% fluffy army.

EDIT: why not just look in the appendix? there you´ll see whats what

When I have the points, I don't start with zombies, only summoning them instead. If points are tight, then I start with zombies and use them to hold a flank.

But zombies seems less Lahmian to me.

I'd agree that Zombs are ugly, and therefore not very Lahimian. However I do really like to plunk down a 40 odd unit of Zombies every once in a while. They have low point cost and the better max size, but that's about it. Skeletons have a decent Armor Save which equals survivability.

For small games of less than 1000 points, yeah, i'll use some zombies, but my core list is mostly skeletons, grave guard, spirit host, some dire wolves, and a unit of black knights, and I raise zombies.

Its a fairly vanilla list, so to signify that they are Lhamians (and to eccentuate their Khemri heritage), I'm using tomb king skeletons and grave guard, and for my black knights, im using empire knights with tomb king skeleton heads and tomb guard shields. My army colors are blue and gold, and All of my banners have Egyptian heiroglyphics *sp* on them.

Here's a better pic of my Vampire Lady. I think the colors I chose really give it that "hey look, I'm an Egyptian" feel.

    My 40K Armies:
    ----------------
    - Thousand Sons
    - Mordian Imperial Guard

    - TAU
    - Dark Eldar

    My Fantasy Armies:
    ---------------------
    - Lhamian Vampire Counts
    - Empire

I only ever use Skeletons and Dire Wolves (for my Core Choices) in my Lahmians. In 2k battles there is lots of choices for the more Elite creatures. (GGuard, Black Knights and Spirit Host are a fav). In 2k I have enough Power Dice to dominte the magic phase (even against High Elves. Mmmmm cheese ) so if I need a speed bumb i can always summon some zombies. Or if I want a unit to charde with I wil summon skellies.

Your army sound identical to mine man. My core is just skelletons and dire wolves (i raise zombies), and my only other units are grave guard, black knights, and spirit hosts. My heroes aside from my countess are a wight lord and two necromancers...and at 2000 point I have 9 power dice and 6 dispell dice...so yeah, i pretty much dominate the magic phase too.

I'd be interested to see what your tactics are.
