I will soon start either VC or TB as soon as I finish my 1500 pts Necron army. I like both VC and TB because I like evil undead races (I play undead in Warcraft III). Can anyone give me a rough guideline of these two undead army? Any help is very much appreciated, thx!!
Vampire counts is a bunch of zombies and skellies walking towards the foe with wolves and wights on the flanks hitting your opponent first oh and vampires are tough and have cool magic
Veni Vidi Variant
I came, I saw, I got a different type of Leman Russ.

Tomb Kings have better units and generally it's hard for TK general to loose playing against empire or similar armies. You have Bone Giant, units of chariots, Scorpions, Casket of Souls and incantations that you'll always cast succesfully. But I think that playing Vampire Counts gives you greater fun. Also if you want to play evil undead choose VC! Khemri just wants to reclaim that what was once theirs when they were alive.
Khemri kinda just roam around their tombs getting cranky and then get all beligerent with whoevers nearby. With a VC army you get to pronounce your W's as V's , saying such phrases as 'You vill vail your saveeng thrrrow leetil dvarv' which works surprisingly well, also you can paint your characters up so they all look like Robert Smith from The Cure.
But Khemri get some very nice models, and you can pretend to be indiana jones when you roll the dice for the Casket of souls and say things like 'Take that Nazi's!'
If you want to know more about TKs then I suggest you look in WD 277 and WD 278 the TK army was relaesed in 277 and it has a bit about them, and they're in a battle report in 278.
Personally I like Vampire Counts because of all the different bloodline powers and experimenting with each bloodline.
The thought of a super fast Vampire lord or a bunch of thralls ripping to shreads a regiment of Empire foot troops is just classy.
Also, Banshees, I love em, can't live without em.
90 points of pure killing power, with the ability to whip out almost any character with one attack.
I haven't played or seen a Tomb Kings army in battle.
ONE bad thing. Why do tomb kings have the EXACT! same stats on their Tomb Guard as the equivalent Grave Gaurd in the Vampire Counts army
Neither are that bad though I would stick to VC more change and flexability, but I only say that since I only have a little experience with VC not the TK.
