Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hiya all, im starting a new vampire army, its not going have bloodlines as i would like to have a vanilla force, but i wouldnt mind going for necarch or von carstein if i wanted to later. Definately not a blood dragon though, theres too many of those players around and i would like to be different...
Anyways, i have had experice with warhammer before, but i must admit im really bad at it lol so if any of you could give me some tips for a new vanilla force compisition that'd be great
Welcome to LO, Heiromyo.
Just what do you mean by vanilla army? You mean a necromancer's army?
vanilla army as in no bloody lines mainly.....but since you bring that point up, i guess any army in the book.....oh well....stil any advice would be appreciated ^^
I'm fairly certain that if you go for a vampire you have to choose a bloodline... Although a non-vampire army can work very well too. You don't want to face my mates Necro army. 3 Necros, a Necro Lord, two banshees and... zombies. That's it. Loads and loads of zombies. Ugh.
i think he means Carstein as it is the generetic bloodline... it is the vanilla choice anyways.
"Aura of dark majesty"(named something like that) is very very useful, longer LD range means better mobility due to the fact it will be easier to keep your army in march distance.
Also very useful when taking ghouls as their LD will be much better and therefor can take casualties better(less panic due to higher LD) and can be used for baiting easier(and actually rally if they get away!).
as a general guideline.
count + 2 necros are pretty standard. 2-3 solid blocks and some fast units... from there its really up to you:yes:
good luck and welcome to the undead
