Got this from the 'playing as' post, awesome guide, but this part got me thinkin'..The Screaming Banner raises a lot of eyebrows. It seems quite useful, but few players take it. Think of how often a Lizardmen player succeeds with his cold-blooded rule. Most of the time, that extra dice keeps his troops rock-solid. Now reverse that roll to where the player is keeping the two highest, not the two lowest, dice and a lot of troops will be running for cover.
Would this banner then override the lizard's 3 dice rule? Or how does that work really..
Gah! But thanks.
My LM player and I played it out this way: You roll four dice, discarding the lowest, per the banner, and the highest, per the cold-blooded rule.
Here is a post I found at another forum. I'm no statistician. My mathematical skills are limited to figuring out how many square feet of garden space I have. So some of you math-afficionadios might double check this...After asking the question of what the odds of the screaming banner were for certain leaderships and not having it answered... I sat down and figured out the percentages. These are the chances that the leadership test will be past.
3D6 drop the Lowest (Screaming Banner) Leadership
For those interested in Lizardmen. For the screaming banner, 4 dice are rolled and the lowest and highest are dropped, so just use normal leadership chart.
3D6 drop the Highest Leadership
Same as David, 4 dice and remove the highest and lowest roll.
""What's the matter? Don't ya like clowns? Don't we make ya laugh?" - Captain Spaulding.
its remove the lowest and highest dice rolled... its in the rules try looking under leadership, or cold blooded rule you shoudl find it there
What you are we once were. What we are you will become!!!
Well that answers that, thanks again!Originally Posted by DavidVC04
