Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hey guys, I am goin up against Teclis, the Everqueen, and her Handmaidens. I am probably gonna bring Kemmler, and maybe Krell, a wight lord of my own, or some necros. What should I bring against this? It is a 3000 pt.s battle. Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: decided not to bring Zacharias since he would probably get ate up in the first round, and the fact he would be 1/3 of my army .

Maybe a necrarch lord and a master necromancer? Then fill in with another necro and whatever other mix of heroes you want? That way you could have a strong general less likely to die off and still have a really potent magic phase.Originally Posted by Sotek
I did the battle and it didnt go so well for me. I posted it in the Battle Reports. Should have thought of a necrarch lord! Oh well, read and enjoy!
Teclis is a pansy, and an easy 600 victory points for you.
If I was facing him, I'd definitely take the wolf Carstein thrall as a hunter. Hell maybe even two, its worth it pointswise. 2 hand weapons (hes only t3 with no armour, so more attacks is better), wolf form, flayed hauberk for protection, just heavy armour for one if you take two of them, and sneak within 18" then pounce for the kill.
Failing that, bat swarms. They'll hold him in combat for the whole battle where he can't do any damage.
If you don't want to hunt him, just take a bit of extra magic resistance. He isn't going to do 600 points worth of damage for your 100 points of compensated resistance, he doesn't do all that much more than normal lvl4 mages. Very overrated IMO.
Not sure about the Everqueen, I don't remember her stats. She is still an elf though, and therefore fragile. Treat her unit like any other unit, bog them with zombies then flank them. The black coach should chew them up a bit.
sorry about the lost, mate. next time, kill those **** elfs for me too.
anyway I think that you sholed try to go for some fast units. you get kind of stuck with the main troops. they just try to stop you from getting on his mages, and you walks right in the trap. try to get som direwolfs or a black caoch behinde his lines.
let your zombies or skeletons hold his units on the flanks and then go right beside them in to his fragile heart of mages.
You said you might take Krell with Kemmler, i thought you MUST take Krell with Kemmler?
